Miss Lisa Cormier
Miss Lisa lives in Sandisfield MA with her husband and three young boys. She started dancing at an early age and still going strong! She grew up dancing at local dancing schools, competing in regional and national competitions until into her 20’s. Miss Lisa has won numerous awards both in group and solo competitions. She has won many titles and grand champion awards. Lisa was a teacher at The Center For Dance Arts in Torrington until CFDA II opened in Winsted. She attends seminars locally taught by world-renowned teachers to keep up on the last trends.
Miss Lisa considers herself very lucky to be able to hand down her knowledge and love for dance to all of her students. She doesn’t care if you are a competitive or recreational student, she enjoys working with all levels and considers every dancer a winner the minute they walk through the door!Miss Jessica Smith
Miss Jessica started dancing at an early age at the Center for Dance Arts II. She was a member of our competition dance teams and acrobatic teams for many years. Miss Jessie attended a year at Dean Junior College and is continuing her early childhood education studies while working at Taft School daycare and teaching for us! She is also busy raising her daughter, Brianna, with her fiancé Kyle. We love having her share with us her love for children through our dance program!
Miss Meghan Gagnon
Miss Meghan is a graduate of NW Regional 7 and a currently a student at NWCCC. Miss Meghan began dancing at CFDA II when she was just 6 years old. She has continually worked hard performing and learning new skills. She has come to love working with children and you can always find her at the studio dancing! Miss Meghan is still a member of our competition team as an award winning soloist! The fact that she loves to share her passion with us makes us a lucky studio!
Josue “vujade” Soto
Josue has been dancing passionately for the past several years. Josue found his love for Hip Hop when attending a neighborhood studios program where he was first taught Hip Hop. From that day forward he participated in many dance battles and traveled to many Hip Hop workshops, “Vujade” also started to teach as the years went on. He taught workshops with his friends and classes at various other studios and places. But for the past year he’s been teaching at Center For Dance Arts ll. Josue continues to travel and be on the Hip Hop scene so he can give the best education he possibly can to his students.
